City of Berlin Kiosk: Spuren des Mittelalters (Traces of the Middle Ages)
This year Berlin is celebrating its 775th Birthday. As part of that celebration, Berlin has erected a number of temporary kiosks in areas of the city where medieval marketplaces, churches, cloisters, bridges, and city walls once stood. The kiosks provide interesting historical information about daily life in 13th century Berlin. In addition, these "mini-museums" provide self-guided tours of nearby medieval structures and archaeological excavation sites.
