Yarn Bombing is a type of graffiti or street art that uses knitted or crocheted yarn to reclaim cold or sterile urban spaces. You find it in many large cities around the world, including Berlin.

Yarn Bombing is believed to have started in the US State of Texas, and unlike other forms of graffiti it can be easily removed. I first noticed yarn bombing in New York City a couple of years ago, and now I've seen it in Australia, Europe, and throughout the USA. It really makes a city come alive. And it's less damaging to property than traditional spray graffiti. I love it!
